SAYES Regional Entrepreneur Scheme

SAYES is a government-funded 12-month program designed to assist young South Australians aged 18-35 years to turn their business concept into a reality or focus on creating a sustainable business model for a newly established business.

By participating in mentoring sessions and workshop presentations SAYES participants gain an understanding of business fundamentals and develop the confidence to implement their business idea. At the completion of the program, participants will leave armed with a comprehensive, fully-formed business plan, ready to successfully launch or establish their business.

The key to the success of this program is the ongoing support from experienced mentors and industry leaders who present comprehensive workshops, providing participants with all the essentials to launch and run a successful business.

In addition, participants are allocated their own dedicated mentor who will nurture and guide participants throughout the program with monthly one on one mentoring sessions.

Duration: 12 months – 1 x 2.5 hour training session and 1 x 1 hour mentoring session per month.

The course includes graduation ceremony upon completion and opportunities to attend networking events throughout the year.

Selection Criteria

  • Australian citizen and South Australian resident
  • Aged 18 to 35 years at the time of application
  • Ready to kick start your business or business idea
