Navigating Life – A Workshop Series

Navigating Life: A Workshop Series in Peterborough will comprise of several workshops surrounding topics which local community members have outlined as a need, and general life skills that enable people to better participate in our community. This workshop series was developed following a brainstorming event in Peterborough titled ‘A ‘POOL’ of Ideas for Peterborough’. This project facilitated discussion and ideas, one of the ideas surrounded a need for education on life skills within the community, which this idea was developed from.

Workshops include:

1  – Applied First Aid
2 – Money on my Mind
3 – Cooking on a Budget
4 – Looking After your Car
5 – Looking After You
6 – Getting that Job

All workshops are being held at the Peterborough Youth Centre. If you attend 4 of the 6 workshops you will go into the draw to win one of two $100 vouchers. Workshops have limited capacity, to avoid disappointment register early!
