LAUNCH OF CLARE VALLEY TOURISM DESTINATION MARKETING PLAN

This Thursday 5 December at the Clare Valley Food Wine and Tourism Centre we are working to have a welcome to Christmas drink for Clare Valley tourism region operators, and particularly those in the Regional Council of Goyder, Wakefield Regional Council and Clare & Gilbert Valleys area.  We are launching the Destination Marketing Plan- funded through the Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council and the Australia Government, and written by e-Tourism, outlines the actions we can all contribute to going forward to build our tourism profile.  This Thursday 5 December at the Clare Valley Food Wine and Tourism Centre we are working to have a welcome to Christmas drink for Clare Valley tourism region operators, and particularly those in the Regional Council of Goyder, Wakefield Regional Council and Clare & Gilbert Valleys area.

 

The Clare Valley Region Tourism visitor economy is increasingly becoming one of its major economic beacons, contributing $89M at the December 2018 quarter, which has been trending positively for the past 10 years (albeit slow growth). Forecast data also indicates positive growth for the sector with potential to reach $166m by September 2030.
