What is happening?
Skills and Employment pathway programs and services are changing as the South Australian Government prioritises its Skilling South Australia strategy. Recently, the South Australian Government announced it will focus on activity that delivers outcomes for industry and develops skills for South Australians.
Because of this, the Jobs First Employments Projects Program will close on 30 June 2018. While there will not be a call for JFEP submissions in 2018-19, the SA Government will continue to work with service providers with existing JFEP contracts until they are completed.
Additionally, the Department of Industry and skills will not be entering new funding agreements for Career Services. This means the current Career Services Program currently run by RDA Yorke and Mid North will also cease on 30 June 2018.

Why is this happening?

I am a current client of Career Services, what does this mean for me?
The Career Services program will cease on 30 June 2018. This means you will no longer be able to access support through the program. I am currently involved with a Jobs First Employment Program funded project, how does this change affect me?
The Jobs First Employments Program will close on 30 June 2018 meaning there will not be a call for JFEP submissions in 2018-19. The SA Government will continue to work with service providers with existing JFEP contracts until they are completed.

Where can I go for support, as I am ineligible to access Job Active/DES services?
