Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience in a fast paced kitchen in this role or higher for 2+ years
  • Self starter with the ability to lead a team and work autonomously

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • To assist our Head Chef in all aspect of the business. Leading by example to ensure all standards are maintained in Food safety and quality. Communicate effectively between staff and management at all levels. Participate in the design and implementation of Seasonal Menus
  • Running the Kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, maintaining quality and standards as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively between staff and management at all levels
  • Thorough understanding in Managing Cost of Goods, Staffing and Wastage
  • Participate in the design and implementation of Seasonal Menus
  • Capability to produce Consistent Meals of a high quality to costed recipes
