Port Pirie Hospital
As an Orderly, you will transport clients, food trolleys and medical/non-medical equipment as required. You will assist medical and nursing staff in the care of clients as required, including transportation of the deceased. This position involves working various shifts per fortnight, and will involve the handover keys, and mobile phone to the next rostered Orderly. You will be required to operate cleaning machines as necessary as well as the use of a step stool/ladder.
This is a casual vacancy, working hours per fortnight will be negotiated and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.
COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in SA Health/health care setting.
