Where you’ll be working:  
Jamestown hospital has 24-hour emergency care, acute and sub-acute/non-acute services including ante-natal and post-natal services, elective surgical services, ambulatory care, renal, outpatient, and visiting specialist services, and a range of primary and community health services including child and family health and mental health, drug and alcohol services.

We will also consider:
A Registered Nurse or Midwife with 3 years post registration experience to train into a Nurse Unit Manager`s role.

To be considered for the role you will need

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Superb Interpersonal skills with the ability to nurture, upskill and lead a team during periods of change
  • Knowledge of NSQHS/ACHS Standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to plan and prioritise
  • Ability to promote positive team morale and an embracing attitude to change
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Up to date vaccination against COVID-19
