Maintenance Fitter- Fabrication Welder

Based in Port Pirie and reporting to the Senior Manager, Therapeutic Services, this role involves intensive home based case work, working in a strengths based way, with families who are facing a range of challenges that place them at risk of entering the Child Protection system. This challenging but rewarding role will see you working with families in crisis and helping them find their own solutions to safety and improved wellbeing.

Therapeutic, assertive and family focused casework is used to support families to address child protection concerns so children can remain safely in their care.

The Winery Maintenance Fitter- Fabrication Welder provides a valuable contribution to the production site, delivering quality service by performing duties such as installations, fabrication, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of various winery equipment.
What you bring to the Role:
We are looking for a positive and proactive team member with a customer service approach to join our winery maintenance team & ideally you will exhibit the following:
  • Possess a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication trade
  • Effective communication & interpersonal skills to liaise with various internal team members
  • Have experience in welding/fabrication of stainless steel (preferred)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Have knowledge/experience in pneumatics/hydraulics (desirable)
  • Completes assigned tasks with diligence, commitment to quality and WHS practices
  • Drivers Licence (HRW forklift & EWP licences desirable)
  • Are computer literate with knowledge of CMMS systems
  • Previous experience in the wine industry or related roles (desirable)
The successful candidate may be required to work flexible hours (eg vintage) to meet our operational demands.
