The Healthy Ageing Team is currently looking for reliable and motivated persons to join their friendly team as Home Support Workers.

The Home Support Worker is responsible for providing a timely efficient and effective service that involves cleaning, shopping, and transport services to clients of Home Based Services, thereby promoting their independence at home. The role involves general housekeeping of clients’ homes and duties may include attending to laundry and linen, window cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, bed making, cleaning of bathroom and toilets, cleaning of ovens, microwaves, kitchen cupboards.  It may also include light outside cleaning, sweeping and dusting. The Home Support Worker may also be required to undertake minor sewing repairs upon request.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.

  • DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
