Health Information Officer

The Health Information Officer is responsible for the provision of a customer focussed comprehensive confidential support service to Environmental Health Centre clients.

Duties include: 

• Providing an efficient frontline reception service to clients and staff in the Environmental Health Centre, contributing to the effective and efficient management of Environmental Health Centre services
• Providing a high level of communication with internal and external customers and a broad range of service providers within the Port Pirie region
• Responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of all client related data entered onto the Environmental Health Centre’s database
• Providing administration support and relief to other positions within the Environmental Health Centre

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.  COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in SA Health/health care setting.
