COVID-19 Services Assistant and Cook

Yorke and Northern Local Health Network are recruiting for Services Assistants and Cooks to work across multiple health sites on a casual basis.
The Services Assistant is responsible for providing a timely, efficient and effective service, that involves the catering and cleaning of the health unit. Duties may include the preparation, service and delivery of food to clients, and general housekeeping. The Services Assistant may also be required to undertake laundry duties.
The Cook is responsible for ensuring that the production and distribution of food service is maintained to appropriate standards in an efficient and effective manner. The Cook is responsible for the ordering of non imprest food supplies, plating of meals, menu selections and ensuring that quality control of food production is maintained to an acceptable standard.

Positions are available at the following health sites: Balaklava, Burra, Booleroo Centre, Clare, Crystal Brook, Jamestown, Laura, Maitland, Minlaton, Orroroo, Peterborough, Port Broughton, Port Pirie, Riverton, Snowtown, Wallaroo, and Yorketown. Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in SA Health/health care setting.
