Federal Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey encourages businesses in the Upper Spencer Gulf to attend information sessions to learn more about the opportunities available through the Federal Government’s $20m Regional Jobs and Investment Package.

“The Government has invested in this funding package to stimulate the economy and deliver sustainable employment in the region,” he said. “There are only ten designated sites across Australia and I am extremely pleased the Federal Government has agreed to allocate one to the Upper Spencer Gulf Region.
“Applications for this region are expected to open in August 2017 and I encourage local organisations and businesses to take advantage of the opportunities which will arise from this package.

“Information sessions have been planned in the three major centres in the Spencer Gulf – Whyalla, Port Augusta and Port Pirie.”
