TAFESA is offering Skills for Competency-Based Assessment and Training at the Port Augusta Campus. The training will cover the following units from the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment:
- Plan assessment activities and processes (TAEASS401)
- Assess competence (TAEASS402)
- Participate in assessment validation (TAEASS403)
- Provide work skill instruction (TAEDEL301)
The course covers performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to plan and organise the assessment process, including recognition of prior learning (RPL), in a competency-based assessment system. It also includes the development of simple assessment instruments. As well as the skills and knowledge required to assess the competence of a candidate. You will also gain the skills and knowledge required to participate in an assessment validation process.
The course cost is $680 and is funded under SRC/RD.
Course is conducted over 8 days – 14 & 15 August, 25 & 26 September, 23 & 24 October, 13 & 14 November
