Clare Water Security Project

The Clare Water Security Project identified the appropriate strategies to secure water fit for purpose over the next 20 years in the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council area.  The project was undertaken by Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North in partnership with  the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council,  the Northern and Yorke NRM Board,  the Clare WineGrape Growers Association, SA Water and the Department for Water.  The project identified the future water requirements for the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council Area and identified potential water sources,  including those created through storm water capture and waste water treatment and reuse.
